Job duties/accountabilities:
 
The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for driving the business unit strategy and tactics around professional services and support. In conjunction with the Executive team, the incumbant will ensure that the following areas are aligned with business and customer needs: consulting services, product implementation and customer support.
 
 
Main responsibilities
  • Planning all AMS resource requirements, including sub-contracting requirements;
  • Ensuring the delivery quality of our professional services across active and upcoming projects, and leading improvement efforts if necessary;
  • Supporting pre-sales activities of our team when related to business solution development, evaluating delivery capacity.
  • Developing our strategy around professional services to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction;
 
 
Other responsibilities
  • Mentoring Project Managers;
  • Perform project Reviews;
  • Develop and enhance the service offering;
  • Develop and document processes around service delivery;
  • Participate in Bid Reviews;
  • Participate and follow up of the budget
  • Responsible for various internal projects;
  • Maintain hard-backlog of revenues;
 
Essentials skills /competencies
  • Master’s degree in business, IT, engineering;
  • 15 + years of progressive business experience, (including experience in a leadership role, responsible for team performance, experience in organizational development at senior levels);
  • Good interpersonal skills to work as a team member and as a liaison with customers;
  • Strong communication, presentation, organization and planning skills;
  • Strong experience with an IT consulting firm;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
 
Preferred skills/competencies
 
  • PMP certification;
  • Knowledge of the enterprise solutions landscape, IBM Maximo specifically or another EAM would be an asset.
  • A high level of energy with a results-driven attitude in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good interpersonal skills to work as a team member and as a liaison with customers;
  • Confident, proactive – skilled in taking initiative, assessing requirements, coming up with plans and taking the lead in making plans reality;
  • The versatility to think strategically and develop new ideas.
